Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate III in Commercial Cookery offers a hands-on and thorough program, designed to equip aspiring chefs with fundamental culinary skills and knowledge. Students will explore a wide array of culinary subjects, such as food preparation, cooking methods, menu design, food safety, and kitchen management. Through practical training in a professional kitchen, students will refine their cooking techniques and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
The program emphasizes teamwork, time management, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations commonly encountered in busy kitchens. Students will learn from experienced chefs and industry experts who are passionate about cooking. Upon graduation, students will be well-prepared for entry-level roles in restaurants, hotels, catering services, and other food-related businesses, where they can demonstrate their culinary skills and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences.
