This courses is suitable for people employed in a Permanent Part Time or Full Time role within a home and community care or disability support organisation. They must be working a minimum of 20 hours per week and have approval from their employer to enrol.
Career Opportunities
Suiting a variety of job roles in the community services industry which may include Assistant in nursing, Community Care Worker, Disability Service Officer, In-Home Respite worker, Accommodation Support Worker, Community House Worker, Lifestyle Assistant and more.
Government funding may be available for people working a minimum of 20 hours as a Support Worker in aged care, home care or disability support organisation and wish to complete their qualification.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- Completed Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualifications OR
- Completed CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.
Course fees
Employer Incentive Funding is available for eligible Permanent Part time employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week in Sydney or Melbourne.
