Diploma of Automotive Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of individuals who diagnose, analyse, evaluate, design and modify vehicle systems in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.
Students will work in an automotive workshop as highly skilled diagnosticians. They are responsible for diagnosing difficult faults and must be able to use highly technical diagnostic equipment and have a high level of understanding of vehicle and machinery systems.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Must have completed an automotive mechanical Certificate IV qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency.
- Year 12 or equivalent of Australian HSC
- IELTS score 5.5 overall (with no band less than 5.0) or equivalent Pearson Test of English (PTE).
