The CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services is a nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others. This course prepares students to work in a range of community service roles that involve supporting individuals, families, and groups through complex challenges.
Students will develop advanced skills in case management, client assessment, community development, and advocacy. The course also covers essential aspects of working within a legal and ethical framework, ensuring graduates are ready to support diverse client needs across various settings.
This qualification requires that the learner complete a total of at least 400 hours of work placement in at least two community service organisations in Australia. This consists of a 200-hour placement in year one and a further 200-hour placement in year two.
