Diploma of Marketing and Communication
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)BSB50620 Diploma of Marketing and Communication has been designed as a pathway from the Certificate IV level course. This course focuses on the managerial skills required to apply and understand the organisation’s marketing and communication plans and services in a business.
Students will apply marketing and communications theory to case study situations in a variety of business contexts. In this role, you would typically report to more senior practitioners but may provide leadership and guidance to others in a marketing and communication project team or in a manager role.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
This course requires completion of 6 core units from the BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications. International students may complete the full lower level qualification or have completed only the required six core units set as entry requirements prior to commencing the Diploma level course.
Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent and/or above
IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in each band) or equivalent test result, or General English / EAP at the Upper Intermediate level from an approved ELICOS provider
Any AQF qualification at the Certificate IV or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.
