This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate and maintain a four wheel drive vehicle in the resources and infrastructure industries. It applies to those working in supervisory and technical specialist roles. They generally work under minimal supervision to undertake a broad range of skilled applications in varied work contexts, using some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures. Gaining a ticket to operate a Bulk Water Truck is an ideal way to gain entry level roles as a Machinery Operator on industry sites.  The objective of a water truck is to assist with dust suppression on site so as to provide safe driving conditions for all operators.  Please note: Dump Trucks can have multiple attachments ie: water tanks / open box bed etc, so, both the Water Truck and Dump Truck are the same to drive.

Our experienced and qualified trainers and assessors will ensure you have all the knowledge and practical based training required to plan and prepare pre-operational checks; operate an excavator including stripping and spreading topsoil and materials, cut and fill, batter, stockpile, bulk excavation, cut drains, bench and backfill; select, remove and fit attachments; relocate the excavator; carry out machine operator maintenance, and clean up.

Learning to operate a Bulldozer will require knowledge and experience.  The information included in this course will equip you to gain the knowledge and skill of operation.

The 3-day Standard 11 Induction (Generic Induction) covers the health and safety requirements needed by workers to be inducted onto Queensland Coal and Metalliferous mining sites.

This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to load and unload goods and cargo in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority regulations/permit requirements.

It includes loading and unloading goods and cargo, securing and protecting a load and completing all required documentation. Work is performed under general supervision within a team environment.
