An Automotive Body Repair Apprentice works under the supervision of experienced panel beaters and body repair technicians to learn how to repair, replace, and restore damaged vehicle body panels.

This hands-on role involves tasks such as removing dents, realigning chassis and frames, replacing damaged parts, welding, and sanding surfaces in preparation for painting. Apprentices also learn to use specialised tools and machinery, read technical drawings, and apply workplace safety standards.
