Diesel Mechanic

A Diesel Mechanic performs repair work on diesel motors at a mechanical workshop. You might carry out inspections and diagnose problems. A Diesel Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, might replace parts and conduct necessary repairs. You might also carry out scheduled services and make adjustments to mechanical parts.

Diesel Mechanics should have strong customer service skills and be able to communicate well with customers from a range of backgrounds. It’s important that you are a good problem solver and can adapt your skills to suit a range of mechanical issues. Diesel Mechanics must have excellent attention to detail and should be able to work well in a team.
