Diploma of Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of community service workers who design and deliver person-centred services to individuals and/or groups. Workers may provide support, advocacy or interventions to individual clients, groups or communities across a range of services. At this level, workers may be autonomous within established parameters and may be required to supervise and lead other workers in projects or teams. Work may take place in a range of community service, case work or case management contexts. To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 100 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.

Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
To be eligible for funding under the Queensland Government VET Investment Program you will be required to prove you are an existing worker in the Community Services and Health Industry, which includes parents and unpaid carers of NDIS participants.
