Diploma of Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities. At this level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management.
Workers support people to make change in their lives to improve personal and social wellbeing. They may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and they may also undertake case management and program coordination.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 200 hours of supervised work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.

On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Any one of the below:
- Completion of senior high school to the Australian Year 12 or equivalent
- Mature age students can also enter based on an interview with Rhodes College staff
