Real Estate Agent careers
Real Estate Agents organise the buying, selling and renting of properties. You’ll act as a negotiator between buyer and seller and coordinate the sale process. Your daily tasks might involve working with home owners to decide on a marketing campaign, advertising properties for sale and finding potential buyers. You’ll also work with buyers to locate suitable properties, organise open homes and host private inspections. Your role will also involve conducting valuations, organising auctions and preparing contracts of sale. Some Real Estate Agents specialise in renting properties rather than selling.
Real Estate Agents need excellent people skills. You’ll need to be a very good negotiator and it’s important that you can handle many tasks at once. Real Estate Agents are on call at all hours of the day and regularly work on weekends. You’ll spend a lot of time outside of the office and you’ll need to be very organised.
