Real Estate Auctioneers start an auction by calling for bids and then attempt to get the highest price possible. You might close a sale to the highest bidder or pass a property in if a reserve is not met.

Real Estate Auctioneers should have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong communicators. You’ll need to be able to think quickly and keep up with a fast-paced auction environment. Real Estate Auctioneers should have good negotiation skills and be able to work with people from a range of backgrounds. You may have to work irregular hours and weekends in this role.
