In 2024-2025, we're dedicated to fostering cultural diversity within the early childhood sector through our Early Childhood Mentoring Program. Students enrolled in our Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care can now apply to participate in the program to take advantage of additional mentoring, support, and meaningful pathways into the workforce.

A Diploma-educated early childhood educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing programs. Graduates of this program will be qualified to work at a senior level in a variety of roles, which may include designing and developing the curriculum and supervising staff.

The Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management prepares you to take on a middle or upper management and leadership role in the community sector. This qualification will help you develop the skills required to put you at the forefront of community sector management.

This course provides a strong and broad foundation for working directly with clients in the community services sector. Community services work is a rewarding career path that will see you helping individuals, families and groups in a variety of ways. Work may take place in a range of contexts such as community-based organisations, residential rehabilitation services and outreach services. 

This qualification is geared towards preparing you for leadership roles and will offer increased career opportunities in aged and community care.

People working at this level are involved with more specialised tasks such as providing support to people with dementia, recognising healthy body systems, supporting relationships with carers and families and providing individualised support.

The role of a Youth Worker is diverse, with many exciting and challenging career opportunities. You will learn to develop and facilitate programs for young people through a range of community-based programs addressing the social, behavioural, health and welfare, developmental and protection needs of young people.

This entry-level course gives you the skills and hands-on experience required to work in support roles within the health industry.  Jobs in the health care sector, including hospitals and residential facilities as well as support roles, are expected to grow strongly over the next five years.

In this course you will be gaining the skills and knowledge to facilitate individual and community education, empowering community members through community development projects, programs, capacity building and advocacy.

This entry-level qualification will help you develop the skills and knowledge required to provide personal, physical and emotional support to those aged 65 years and older or individuals with disability. With a rise in our ageing population, jobs in the aged and health care sector are expected to grow strongly over the next five years.

This course will give you the skills and knowledge to effectively provide first aid response - life support, management of casualty(s) and incident management until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

This course gives you the skills and knowledge to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation following a life-threatening incident. 

This course gives you the skills and knowledge to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies. It is specifically for educators and support staff working within an education and care setting.

The 22471VIC Course in Initial General Education for Adults helps learners with low literacy and numeracy skills build confidence, re-engage with learning and the community, and find a pathway into study and employment.

The Certificate III in School-Based Education Support is an entry-level course that will help you begin a rewarding career as a teacher aide at a school. This qualification reflects the role of workers who support teachers and students in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education.

The Certificate IV in School Based Education Support is a mid-level course that will support a rewarding career working as a teacher aide at a school. This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education settings, who support teachers and students.

Disability support workers provide personal, physical and emotional support to people with a disability who require assistance with daily living. This qualification will equip you with the skills to support clients to meet their goals, and to empower them to participate in the community. There is strong growth projected for jobs in disability and aged care.

This skill set provides individuals working in a range of industry and work setting contexts with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply basic infection prevention and control principles including implementing standard and transmission-based precautions and responding to risks.

The Certificate III in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles aims to equip you with the necessary skills in sewing, patternmaking, and industry processes for creating garments.

As a student in this program, you'll gain a working knowledge of fabric identification, fabric cutting, pattern-making methods, sewing techniques, laying-up, professional finishing, and alterations, all of which are key skills in this vital industry.

Whether you are currently working in the sector or are wanting to start fresh, the program will give you essential skills which can be put to good use in the clothing production and alteration business.

This course gives you the skills and knowledge required to comply with personal hygiene, maintain food safety, contribute to the cleanliness of food handling areas and dispose of food.

This course gives you the skills and knowledge to skills and knowledge to assist a casualty suffering a severe allergic reaction until the arrival of medical assistance. Participants also gain knowledge of recognition, management, prevention and risk minimisation of allergic reactions.

This course gives you the skills and knowledge to develop an asthma management plan and provide asthma-related first aid interventions in the workplace. 

The Certificate IV in Apparel and Fashion (Garment Construction, Design and Patternmaking) aims to level up your existing technical production skills and knowledge while adding business and design outcomes to get you ready for design, construction and merchandising management roles.

As a student in this program, you'll gain a working knowledge of design fundamentals and prototyping, bespoke garment making, and other advanced technical skills, as well as industry knowledge and the use of computing technology for textile outcomes.

Whether you are currently working in the sector or are simply upskilling, the program will give you essential skills which can be put to good use in clothing design, production and alteration.

We encourage students to have completed the MST31022 Certificate III in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles or equivalent qualification. Students who have completed MST30116 or MST30119 will require additional training.
