This qualification provides a pathway to work in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. This qualification allows for multi skilling and for specialisation in accommodation services, food and beverage and gaming.

The course consists of theory and practical tasks for Hospitality in a training room environment. This course is designed to work with teams learning the 15 units as well as hands on practical hospitality experience. 

This qualification is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In this role, individuals use well developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team.

They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

This qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

This course is based on current industry standards, hands on application, relevant case studies and real discussions that can generate relevant skills and results. 

The theory component of this qualification will be led by a qualified trainer, one session per week in your school (or as agreed upon with the school). You will be given an insight into what is involved in you are working in the Hospitality Industry. You will receive enough knowledge and skills to gain an entry level position in the industry and provide a stepping stone to creating a career for yourself. This course will include practical components in a simulated and real workplace hospitality environment. 

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

This is a general qualification for the integrated management of logistics.

Achievement of this qualification will require the self-directed application of knowledge and skills, with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques for self and others.

Applications involve participation in the development of strategic initiatives as well as personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations or organising others. It may include participation in teams, including those concerned with planning and evaluation functions. Group or team coordination may be involved.

The TLI20421 Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations is a qualification for a person interested in supply chain operations support within the Transport and Logistics Industry in Brisbane, Queensland (QLD) and throughout Australia.

Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations covers entry level knowledge and skill requirements for those looking to get into work in the logistics and warehousing industries. Delivered face to face in a classroom environment the course is designed to introduce new workers to the industry. 

This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to responsibly sell or serve alcohol in Brisbane and Queensland (QLD). RSA is a requirement if you wish to work in licensed venues such as clubs, pubs, hotels, bars and restaurants.

You will learn how to sell and serve alcohol responsibly , assist customers to drink within appropriate limits, assess alcohol affected customers, identify those who must be refused sale or service and learn how to refuse sale or service to customers in a professional manner.

This is a qualification for those engaged in supply chain operations and includes specialisations for warehousing operations.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures within known time constraints. It may also include responsibility for coordinating the work of others.

As part of Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, we offer you the opportunity to gain your forklift licence. You can add the forklift training & assessment as part of the course. We believe that with a Certificate III qualification in Supply Chain Operations and a forklift licence you will greatly increase your chances of securing a long career in this industry.

The General Construction Induction Training (GCIT) card provides new and existing workers based in Brisbane or eleswhere with the basic understanding and knowledge needed to start or continue work within the building and construction industry. This card was formerly known as a blue card. 

This unit of competency specifies the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work. The unit requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others. It covers identifying and orally reporting common construction hazards, understanding basic risk control measures, and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. It also covers correctly selecting and fitting common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work. It provides essential knowledge for those Brisbane based and throughout Queensland who are looking to pursue a career in construction.

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to provide responsible gambling services in Brisbane and throughout Queensland (QLD), and to assist those customers who have may be at risk of or are already experiencing harm from gambling.

You will learn how to implement responsible gaming practices and how to provide informatiion and assistance to customers about problem gambling.

This course is based on current industry standards, hands on application, relevant case studies and real discussions that can generate relevant skills and results. Delivered by expert industry trainers face to face on site in Brisbane.

This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to create and serve the perfect espresso coffee beverages using a commercial espresso machine and grinder, You will learn how to advise customers on coffee beverages, select and grind coffee beans, prepare and assess espresso coffee beverages and to use, maintain and clean the espresso machine and grinder.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform  under 11m and applies to those working in operational roles in Brisbane and elsewhere. The work required in this unit relates to the National Standard for High Risk Work but this unit does not provide the WP High-Risk Work Licence for Over 11m.

The LF high risk work licence class allows you to use forklift trucks in Brisbane, but does not include order-picking forklift trucks.

A forklift truck is a powered industrial truck equipped with a mast and an elevating load carriage which has a pair of fork arms attached (that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground) or other load holding attachment.

To operate a boom type elevating platform, you need a WP high risk work licence. An elevating work platform uses a telescoping device, hinged device, articulated device or any combination of these to raise personnel, equipment or materials to perform work.

We offer on-site induction and assessment services, and in order to schedule an induction, it's essential that you have the suitable boom type elevating work platform at your location. **Please note that we do not conduct inductions or assessments at our own facility.

Once you have completed the induction, you can be supervised by a licensed operator to undergo on-the-job (OTJ) training.

To operate an order-picking forklift truck you need an LO high risk work licence.

An order-picking forklift truck has the operator’s control as part of the load carriage/lifting media and lifts with it. Order-picking forklift trucks are generally referred to as “stock pickers”. They can be fitted with a platform extension for use in furniture warehouses, or can be a turret truck in narrow aisle warehouses.

This is a general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry. The course involves a broad range of skilled applications including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and to provide leadership and guidance to others in applying skills and planning skill development.
